PRESS INFORMATION FROM BINZ UK Vito Goes Down A Storm With Tempest John P. Tempest Funeral Service of Leeds recently replaced its private ambulance with a new Binz Vito. The previous vehicle had been a Toyota fitted with a pre-production version of that company's silent rise and fall deck system. As with any completely new concept there were always going to be development issues. However, once the time came to replace the Toyota, John and Barbara Tempest had seen the benefits of the this hydraulically operated system and knew that it was the best available. This, combined with the standard of finish and the quality of the Binz Vito ensured that there was no real alternative. "The Binz Vito quite simply portrays the image that we are building for the business. It is dignified, smart, efficient, and for this role, not overly ostentatious." said John Tempest. If the aim of a funeral director is to make the bereavement process less stressful, more dignified, then it increasingly means that removal vehicles need to be more "front line". They have to exude the same level of dignity and decorum as the hearses and limousines most people normally associate with the funeral process. The Vito is less commercial in appearance, especially with the blacked-out glass 'people carrier' bodystyle option, affording a "softer" approach at what is perhaps the most distressing point in the process for many families. It also has the style and finish to also be used as a hearse if requested, or if needed. In developing the Vito to this high standard of presentation Binz has identified an area of the funeral profession that has all too often been a weak link in the service provided. An insight into the business, that enables the Binz Vito to deliver a level of dignity that does not restrict it to out of sight operation. Kevin Smith, sales director for Binz UK commented, "John Tempest is a long standing client, his feedback on the rise and fall deck contributed to the development of the Binz Vito. We are delighted to be able to continue our relationship with John and Barbara Tempest with the Vito joining their existing Binz fleet." Ends Image caption: "John Tempest (right) of John P.
