Can't Get Enough of a Good Thing

When Devon-based Walter H. Squires & Son elected to open a second funeral home in Cullompton to relieve pressure on their Tiverton base, the initial business plan saw the existing fleet consisting of a Binz hearse and two limousines, supported by a Binz Vito, a saloon car and an estate and a classic Austin hearse serving both homes.

However, within a year the firm's Ryan Squires reports that demand has increased to a level where a second modern hearse was required to cope with the rising number of funerals. Whilst a second all-new Binz hearse would have been an ideal situation Walter H. Squires & Son discussed the options with Kevin Smith and the result was a solution that was a win-win for everyone.

It happened that Binz were taking in a trade-in fleet of late model vehicles and Kevin Smith was able to offer Ryan squires first refusal on the hearse. When Ryan saw the quality of the intended replacement vehicle and took into account the very competitive price the deal was struck.

Walter H. Squires & Son now boasts a Binz fleet of five vehicles and Ryan Squires says, " We can't get enough of a good thing. We bought the initial fleet on the basis of their standard of finish and quality and this pre-owned Binz has been bought on exactly the same buying principles."

Kevin Smith, Binz UK sales director added, "Binz has always offered a range of top quality used funeral vehicles and now we are starting to see the real quality of the pre-owned Binz vehicles. They can readily pair up with new models, and vice versa offering funeral directors a cost-effective route to owning a contemporary Binz fleet."
